Home to Me: November 2010

We are moved in!!! Sam drove down to Evansville on Wednesday night and we put my stuff in the Penske rental truck and headed to Dayton! Thursday night we stayed in a hotel so we could get an early start to the BIG day!! Whewww it was a buuusy day! Interview @ 9, signed our lease and unloaded the truck, another interview @ 1! The family arrived around 5, and more unloading and unpacking. But don’t you worry there were a lot of laughs in between, I love me some Cerreta’s, especially 5 of them at once ;) My dad and my brother were here as well, lotta love in one little apartment! It was a great weekend, but way too short! Can’t wait to live in our apartment full-time with my Sammy!

Other news this week—Sam got a new used car on Tuesday, has to give back the company car. --I’m still waiting to hear back about my interviews and my Ohio nursing license! –and I am attending my very first Ohio State football tailgate this Saturday, oh boy! –Hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving! So much to be thankful for, I love all my family and friends very much!!

Such a great weekend, but way too short! Can't wait to live here full-time!!!! Thanks to our family for going the miles and helping us bring our stuff from being 7 hours apart to mixing it all in the same apartment! And thank you for all the love and support! :)

If you know me then you know my obsession with documenting everything, I’ve been doing it since I was 12. I’ve been trying to break this habit for many years, and I think I’m just going to give in! So here it is, my first blog--> This is the perfect time to start because I’m starting a new chapter in life, the biggest one so far! I have to be cheesy for a minute, but yes I found my soul mate, and yes he’s the one! I would tell you all about Sam but its easier just to tell you that he’s perfect for me. If you've met him you know, if you haven't then you need to. :)

To answer some of the basic questions.. we started dating 4 months ago, and funny enough we met at a bar (haha) called Rock Lobster in Indianapolis. He was in town for a wedding, and I was visiting Emily. Oh and this is the part where I’m supposed to give all the credit to Chaz and Andrea for sort of introducing us!! :) I live in Evansville, IN, he lives near Cleveland, OH… we live 7 hours apart buuuut it was love at first sight so what do you do??… well truthfully you try to talk yourself out of it, you think you’re crazy, and guess what.. none of that works when you’re magnetically pulled together. So in July we decided to go for it!! And for the past 4 months we have been making the trips, practicing patience, trusting in God, and prospering in love… and going on a lot of iChat dates!

We are moving in together this Friday -November 19, and we are so excited!! We are both moving to Beavercreek, OH, which is a suburb of Dayton. Sam has been given a wonderful career opportunity, that he is absolutely thrilled about! He starts working December 1^st. I am still job searching but I have 2 interviews, also on Friday!!!! (keep your fingers crossed) Busy time for us! So stay posted and I will soon have pics of our new home and our new city!! But first here's some pics of us from the past 4 months!!
